The 10th edition of the World Congress on Football and Science was officially opened on Wednesday morning at the UMCG by the Chairman of the Board of the UMCG.

Ate Van der Zee extends a warm welcome to over 350 participants from around the world, gathered at the UMCG in Groningen.
Over the next three days, the latest advancements in football research, including not only soccer but all football codes (rugby, Australian rules football, Gaelic football, etc.), will be presented.
